I am very impressed and edified by this book. For the past fifteen years, I have been collecting Rosary meditation books, and this is one of the best I’ve read. This book combines a meditative approach to the Rosary based on Scripture and the doctrines of the Saints, with a focus on the ascetic life that is the foundation and fruit of praying the Rosary. I was particularly gladdened with the copious citations from Cornelius a Lapide’s Great Commentary. I wholeheartedly believe that the best way for the faithful to engage with the Scriptures is through the Rosary, so that the unfathomable depths of divine Revelation may be plumbed under the tutelage of the Mother of God, who is our own Mother and advocate.
